$165 million Goulburn Hospital and Health Service Redevelopment complete

The $165 million Goulburn Hospital Redevelopment is now complete and supporting high-quality healthcare for the Goulburn region.

The project has delivered a modern, fit-for purpose facility, and represents the most significant upgrade in the hospital’s 130-year history.

The redevelopment includes a new emergency department, intensive care unit, medical imaging department, and modern digital theatres.

These expanded services support the hospital to provide a higher level of healthcare when patients need it most.

Alongside the new Clinical Services Building, the redevelopment has refurbished areas within the original hospital, transitioned services into new spaces, and added new car parking and landscaping.

The completed works in the original hospital now offer improved services for ambulatory outpatients, cancer care, Aboriginal health, and pathology collections in upgraded facilities.

Services have been relocated from Bourke Street Health Service to the Goulburn Hospital Campus, making it easier for the community to access necessary health services in one location.

Final touches to the hospital will be carried out over the coming months.
