The main services trench has now been completed and will serve as the backbone of services and infrastructure for the current Goulburn Hospital campus.

Once the new clinical services building is constructed the new and existing facilities will all be serviced through the one connection point.

The fire hydrant and sprinkler tank services of the hospital have also been reconfigured and handed over to the LHD. These works involved the local Fire Brigade walking through the new arrangement with the team.

Hansen Yuncken has completed environmental and geotechnical testing on the site for the design of the new facility's foundation and structure.

The output of these results will assist the design team to develop a cost effective and suitable foundation for the new hospital as well as further inform the environmental management of the site.

The site will now be covered in a geofabric to inhibit erosion and dust on site in early June.

The enabling works for the redevelopment have now been achieved and Hutchinson Builders has demobilised.
