Commissioning and change

The commissioning and change process for the project officially kicked off with staff workshops, providing the framework and tools to help manage change in our departments. Staff also worked through finding ways to improve processes ahead of transitioning to the new building.

Changes to the main entrance ‘semi-circle’ carpark were introduced on Monday 11 November 2019 with visitor parking moving on-street for the duration of the redevelopment works.

The carpark includes one five-minute drop-off zone and three 15-minute drop-off zones for the emergency department. There are also spaces reserved for accessible drivers and medical staff with spaces colour coded and sign posted.
