Work will be undertaken on Faithfull Street as part of the $150 million Goulburn Hospital and Health Service Redevelopment. The preparatory work is being undertaken to support the future installation of wayfinding signage for the new four-storey Clinical Services Building. The work will commence from Monday 17 August 2020 and is expected to take a week to complete. During the work there will be changes to pedestrian access on Faithfull Street. Pedestrians are advised to use the footpath on Faithfull Street on the opposite side of the road to the Hospital, as there will be no access to the footpath alongside the Redevelopment site. Community members are asked to take extra care and to look out for construction traffic using the Goldsmith Street entrance to the Redevelopment site, and to please follow all safety signage and directions. Traffic control will be in place to ensure the safe movement of pedestrians and vehicles for the duration of the work. There will be no impact to existing car parking on Faithfull Street as a result of the work. The Government has allocated $18.6 million for the Cooma Hospital Redevelopment and $8 million for the redevelopment of Yass Hospital.
